NITRIC BIO CHOSEN AS 2006 COMPANY TO WATCH
Bristol, PA – December 6, 2006 – Nitric Bio announced today that it was chosen as a 2006 Life Science Company to Watch by the Enterprise Awards of the Eastern Technology Council. The award was sponsored by Penn State University Great Valley Center and was presented at a black-tie event at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Disney of Penn State made the presentation to Frank J. McCaney, President and CEO of Nitric Bio.
Nitric Bio is a venture backed, biopharmaceutical development company exploring multiple applications of topical Nitric Oxide gas. The primary initiative is the use of Nitric Oxide for the treatment of Chronic Wounds such as Venous Stasis ulcers. Nitric Bio, headquartered in Bristol, PA, was funded in March of 2006.
